For decades, the Mark V turbine control system has been used to manage industrial turbines. It consists of a small LCD keypad and screen. This serves as a mini terminal/control point for the system. The unit can be screwed directly to a unit and connected with the associated plug and wiring available along one long edge of the display. The display consists of a single small LCD panel with a two-line 40 character display. The front panel has four lines of touch-sensitive membrane switches beneath the display. These keys have multiple functions that can be accessed by pressing the shift key located in the bottom left corner of the unit.
