Description: Woodward: SPM-D2-1040B, Synchronizer 400 Vac

Predecessor: 8440-1019

Woodward’s SPM-D2 is form, fit and function compatible successor to each of the SPM-D line of

synchronizer’s that are currently active. These are simple and robust microprocessor based

synchronizers designed for use on three-phase AC generators equipped with Woodward or other

compatible speed controls and automatic voltage regulators. Some salient features are:

 Same Look and Feel as SPM-D synchronizers

 Woodward ToolKit service tool support

Application Software (Software Version 7.10) ‐

ToolKit software tool for parametrization and visualization for all SPM-D2 variants

(replaces LeoPc1)

USB device port  for connection and configuration through PC (no more DPC cable needed,

RJ45 port removed)

Password protection for SPM-D2-10xx/YB variants

Configuration through HMI without limitation on number of backwards navigation (SPM-Ds are

limited to four time backwards navigation)

Loading default values (reload factory default settings)
