Abb ntcl01 communication link termination unit is a communication link terminal unit used in INFI-90 system. This device is mainly used to connect and terminate the communication loop in INFI-NET system, and is usually used with INNIS01 network interface slave module.

NTCL01 provides terminal blocks and BNC connectors for communication with NETWORK 90 Plant Loop and Superloop systems. It can be connected to the communication loop through twisted pair or coaxial cable.

In the installation process, it is necessary to configure and install the required terminal units or modules and their cables before installing any interface modules.

The jumper settings of NTCL01 can be adjusted according to the revision level of the circuit board. See Table A-1 for jumper settings of circuit board revision levels D and E, and Table A-2 for jumper settings of revision level F and above.

In addition, the device also supports redundant applications, requiring twice as many modules, terminal units or cables.
