ABB NTDI02 digital I/O termination unit is a part of Harmony series, which is used in Symphony enterprise management and control system. The terminal unit is mainly used to provide a signal path between I/O signals at the process site and the following I/O modules:
Analog output module (IMASO11)
Digital input modules (IMDSI13, IMDSI14 and IMDSI22)
Pulse input module (IMDSM04)
Digital output modules (IMDSO14 and IMDSO15)
Frequency counting module (IMFCS01)
The NTDI02 termination unit is a seven-by-seven-inch printed circuit board, including two fuses, 16 programmable titrators, 16 user-configurable jumpers, four terminal blocks, a cable socket, two power Faston connectors and a system common Faston connector.
During installation and setup, special attention should be paid to the following points:
Before installation or operation, the fuse must be installed and the titrator must be configured.
When installing hardware, the original packaging materials and containers should be used to store the hardware, and the ambient air quality should be ensured to avoid extreme changes in temperature and humidity.
When replacing the terminal unit, you must first turn off the power supply of the cabinet and follow the steps step by step.
NTDI02 termination unit is fully compatible with existing INFI 90® OPEN and Symphony™ enterprise management systems.
However, NTDI02 is not a direct substitute for NTDI01, although they are functionally interchangeable.
NTDI02 digital I/O termination unit is an important component in Harmony series, which is used to connect and manage I/O signals in the process site. It is compatible with Symphony system and suitable for many industrial automation applications.
