Alstom LGPG111 relay is a multifunctional digital generator protection relay. Its main functions and characteristics are as follows:

Generator differential protection (87G): It is used to protect the phase or three-phase stator winding, and it is an important function to detect the internal short-circuit fault of the generator. This protection is realized by the ratio braking characteristic, which can effectively distinguish internal faults from external interference.


Stator grounding fault protection (51N): It is suitable for sensitive grounding generators or resistance grounding transformers, and can detect the grounding fault of generator stator windings in response to current changes.


Neutral offset protection (59N): Respond to the grounding fault of the upper stator winding of the generator by detecting the voltage change, thus protecting the safe operation of the generator.


Voltage-dependent over-current protection (51P): As a backup protection of the system, it can detect the over-current when the voltage changes and ensure the safety of generator operation.


Reverse power protection (64P): used to detect the loss of the main power source and prevent the generator from running under no load, thus avoiding potential mechanical or electrical damage.


Low-power forward protection (32L): It is used to detect the continuous unbalanced load condition and ensure that the generator can still run stably under uneven load.


Magnetic field fault protection (40F): It can detect the fault of the generator's magnetic field, find and deal with the problems related to the magnetic field in time, and ensure the normal operation of the generator. LGPG111 relay adopts digital technology, converts analog signals into digital data through analog-to-digital conversion circuit, and uses high-performance microprocessor to process them, thus realizing various protection algorithms. This design not only improves the accuracy and reliability of the protection function, but also enhances the flexibility and adaptability of the system.


The relay also supports a variety of industrial control applications, such as motor control, conveyor control and robot control, and is suitable for industrial automation, building control and transportation.
