Moog announces obsolescence information for the Moog DialogController Displays, effective from

April 1, 2022. This document replaces any previous product life cycle announcements for those

products.

The following part numbers are affected by this end of life notice.

D137-004-004 – TFT Touch screen display, 5.7", 320 x 240 pixels

D137-004-005 - TFT Touch screen display, 10.4", 640 x 480 pixels

D137-004-006 - TFT Touch screen display, 12.1", 800 x 600 pixels

This notice provides a schedule for end of sales, last delivery and end of product support, service and repairs. It gives the timetable for DialogController displays product obsolescence with key timelines and support options that are now available to you.

Moog does not offer a replacement for the DialogController displays. As the DialogController displays are used within applications with MSC I, MSC II, MSD Motion Controller and MSC-R, which are obsolete, the DialogController displays now becomes also obsolete. We recommend the following alternatives: For applications with MSC I, MSC II, MSC-R and MSD Motion Controller, programmed with MACS / CODESYS 2.3 integrated development environment: • Use a display, which implements the CODESYS 3 Target Visualization: The DialogControllers are programmed with MACS / CODESYS 2.3. You need to convert the application of the DialogController to MASS / CODESYS 3. The MASS / CODESYS 3 integrated development environment offers a conversion functionality to convert MACS / CODESYS 2.3 projects to MASS / CODESYS 3. Check the used communication standard between the DialogController and the Motion Controller. This is typically TCP/IP or CODESYS Network Variables. Use a display, which supports the used communication standard. E.g., the Berghof B-PRIMIS displays implement the CODESYS 3 Target Visualization. They support TCP/IP and CODESYS
