It gives the timetable for Moog Axis Control Software (MACS) product obsolescence with key timelines and support options that are now available to you.

Moog offers the following product as functional replacements for MACS: • Moog Application Software Suite (MASS), based on CODESYS 3. MASS is the successor of the MACS development environment. MACS is based on CODESYS 2.3.   MASS includes a converter functionality to convert existing MACS application projects to MASS. MASS supports the MSC III Motion Controller and the MC600plus Machine Controller. Moog offers the following product as functional replacements for MACS HMI: • MASS web-based visualization: Use the Web Visualization functionality of MASS to display the visualization pages on a web browser: A PC, a Web Panel or any other devices, which runs in a web browser, can be used to display the visualization pages. The Web Visualization for MSC III requires at least a license key of level ‘Green’. As the Web Visualization of MASS/ MSC III uses HTML5 technology, it runs on almost every actual browser without addition tools or software required. • Use MASS and a display, which implements the CODESYS 3 Target Visualization.
