The MK IV was the first of the Speedtronic gas and steam control systems to have triple modular redundant controllers, which reduced downtime due to hardware failure dramatically. This is a big, intricate piece of machinery with a lot of different parts. The power supply board external metal housing is the first step. On its metal feet, the housing is designed to fit into a bay-type enclosure. A front bottom panel of the machine allows for the connecting and control of several connected connections. Two DS3820C12 Current Isolator Modules are mounted to the front panel of the unit above this. Several other components, including a DS3800NFCG firing board, various rectifier components, fuse components, and other components, fill the interior of the DS3820EVCC. DS3820EVCC Power Supply 

The DS3820EVCC is a large cabinet component manufactured by General Electric for use in the Mark IV Speedtronic system.  The Mark IV was the first of the Speedtronic gas and steam control systems to offer TMR (triple modular redundant) controls that significantly reduced downtime due to hardware failure. 

The DS3820EVCC functions as a power supply.  This is a large, complicated piece of equipment with multiple individual components.  This begins with the external metal housing of the DS3820EVCC.  The housing is designed to sit in a bay-type enclosure on its metal feet.  The unit has a front bottom panel for the connection and control of multiple wired connections.  Above this, the front panel of the unit has two DS3820C12 Current Isolator Modules attached.  These are placed side-by-side in their own sub-panels.  The unit has another sub-panel attached above these two components.  This unit has a see-through panel that has been mounted in place.  The panel protects a large circuit board and its auxiliary boards.  These boards. 

The interior of the DS3820EVCC is populated by several other components, including a DS3800NFCG firing board, multiple rectifier components, fuse components, and other components.  Individual components are mounted together using surfacing wiring or ribbon cables.  Cables are typically controlled by bundling with zip ties.
