Description
IC3600AOAH1

Part Number IC3600AOAH1 Manufacturer General Electric Country of Manufacture As Per GE Manufacturing Policy Series Mark VI/VIe Function Module Availability In StockIC3600AOAH1 is a Operational Amplifier Board developed by GE. It is a part of Mark I & II control system. The board has a versatile design that encompasses six operational amplifier circuits and two analog-to-logic level detectors.

These circuits are of the general-purpose type, providing adaptability to perform specific functions when combined with other cards or components within the control system. Operational Amplifier Circuits At its core, the AOAH card is equipped with six operational amplifier circuits.

These circuits serve as the foundational building blocks for signal processing tasks and are engineered for broad applicability. They can be seamlessly integrated into various control system configurations to address specific operational requirements and challenges. Analog-to-Logic Level Detectors The AOAH card further enhances its functionality with two analog-to-logic level detectors.

These detectors are instrumental in the conversion of analog signals into logic levels, facilitating the seamless integration of analog data into digital control systems.

This conversion process is pivotal for informed decision-making based on analog input data. Comparator Features Among its notable features, the AOAH card incorporates two analog/logic comparators, each with a defined threshold for transitioning its output to a logic 1 state: Comparator 1: This comparator produces a logic 1 output when its input exceeds 6 volts, making it ideal for monitoring and responding to analog signals that surpass a predetermined voltage threshold.

Comparator 2: In contrast, the second comparator generates a logic 1 output when its input becomes more negative than -0.6 volts.

This feature enables precise detection of voltage levels, particularly in scenarios where negative voltage values are of significance. Permissive Gate Control Both comparators on the AOAH card incorporate a permissive gate mechanism. To facilitate the transition of the comparator outputs to a logic 1 state, the permissive gate must also be set to a logic 1. This additional condition ensures that state changes are executed in accordance with the overarching operational logic and safety requirements of the control system. Versatile Integration The AOAH card's versatility comes to the fore through its adaptability to diverse control system configurations and applications. Its operational amplifiers, analog-to-logic level detectors, and comparators collectively offer a comprehensive suite of signal processing capabilities.

This versatility makes the AOAH card an indispensable asset for engineers and system designers seeking precise control and monitoring solutions. Universal Liquid Fuel Control System The AOAH is used within the Universal Liquid Fuel Control System, tasked with harmonizing the operation of the control loops.

This control system comprises two distinct loops, each serving a specific purpose: Outer Control Loop - Flow Control The first loop focuses on regulating the flow of liquid fuel and consists of two essential components: SFUA Card: This card provides valuable feedback by monitoring the speed of the flow divider through magnetic pickups. It offers critical insights into the flow dynamics of the liquid fuel. SFKC Card: Responsible for summing the flow reference signal with the flow feedback data, the SFKC card generates a flow error signal.

This signal indicates any deviations from the desired flow rate. Inner Control Loop - Bypass Position Control The second loop is dedicated to bypass position control, comprising two integral components: SSVF Card: Monitoring the valve's position is the primary function of the SSVF card. It enables precise control over the liquid fuel servo valve's position. SSVG Card: Summing the position reference signal with the position feedback data, the SSVG card produces a forward gain drive signal that directly influences the operation of the liquid fuel servo valve. The AOAH Card - Interface Between Loops The AOAH card serves as a vital intermediary between these two control loops, facilitating seamless communication and coordination.

It incorporates two essential circuits: AOAH (D) Circuit - Integral Flow Control Loop: The AOAH circuit plays a critical role by integrating the flow error signal generated by the outer loop. This integration process culminates in the creation of the position reference signal, forming the core of an integral flow-control loop.

This ensures that the liquid fuel flow remains consistent and within the desired parameters. AOAH(A) Circuit - Fast Ramp or Initialization: The AOAH(A) circuit introduces dynamic functionality by providing rapid ramping or initialization of a predefined valve position.

This action is triggered when specific conditions are met, such as reaching a designated VCE level or transitioning from gas to liquid phases. The primary objective is to mitigate the effects of integrator windup, ensuring precise control during critical operational phases.OP AMPL. CKT. BD
