It's a PCB component designed for Speedtronic. The MKVI is the third Speedtronic system to offer triple-redundant controls, with triple-redundant backups on all critical controls and protection parameters. Depending on the size and complexity of the turbine system, many MKVI modules are available in either simplex or triple redundant configuration. The component is intended to be used as a backplane board in the base of a rack system. 

The rack system cuts the card in half, with the front half of the card visible on the outside of the rack. The rack system surrounds the back half of the card in such a way that boards inserted into the backplane are supported by the rack sides. It is important to note that the rack is independent of the board. The board contains twenty-one board connectors. These are intended to accept various types of cards. 

The front half of the board is divided into two lines of Inputs/Outputs. One line has twenty-one characters, while the other has twenty.
