When a 120/240-volt source is used, a power converter isolates it with an isolation transformer and rectifies it to 125 volts of direct current. A diode high select circuit selects the highest 125Vdc bus to supply to the Power Distribution Module. For redundancy, a second 120/240vac source can be provided. If either of the AC sources falls below the under-voltage setting, diagnostics generate an Undervoltage alarm. A separate 120/240vac supply is required for ignition transformers with short circuit protection of 20A or less in gas turbine applications.
