Installation and Maintenance

Proper handling and deployment guarantee that the MACH1130 achieves its intended multi-decade operational lifespan.

1.Mounting and Rail Setup:Pre-installation。

Install sliding or mounting rails in your 19" cabinet to support the physical weight of the switch. 

Ensure at least 10 cm of clearance in front of and 5 cm above ventilation slits for passive heat dissipation.

2.Grounding the Chassis:Critical Safety Step。

Connect the ground screw on the back of the device to your cabinet's protective conductor before making any other electrical connections.

3.Wiring Power Supplies:Redundancy Configuration。

Strip and secure power wires to the terminal blocks. If configuring redundant lines, connect both primary and secondary feeds (AC or DC as configured).

 Ensure in-line fuses are in place on the supply cables.

4.Media Connections & Commissioning:Final Step。

Connect copper RJ45 or fiber optic SC/ST patch cables. Power on the device, log into the web interface or CLI to configure your VLANs, and backup your initial configuration settings onto an ACA (Auto-Configuration Adapter) USB device.
