The Schneider Electric GUTOR OP2456 / OP2456B is a high-performance Main Control Board (also classified as an operational control module) engineered exclusively for the Gutor PEW / PDW / WEW / WDW industrial UPS series and high-capacity DC charging systems.

Unlike an external operator panel, the OP2456 series acts as the internal "central nervous system" of the unit. 

It calculates pulse-width modulation (PWM) signals, processes real-time sensor loops, monitors galvanic isolation barriers, and directly drives the inverter and rectifier firing circuits to ensure pure, continuous power delivery.

It performs high-speed calculations to seamlessly synchronize the inverter output with the bypass mains.

 If the primary power grid fluctuates, the OP2456 triggers a static transfer to backup power in less than 4 milliseconds—long before sensitive downstream industrial electronics can drop out.

The OP2456B variant features optimized hardware revisions designed to handle high-density firmware stacks.

 This enables advanced diagnostic data capture, deeper harmonic filtration control, and more stable Modbus registry map communications with plant-wide distributed control systems (DCS).
