ABB Relion® 605 series is a protective relay product family specially designed for distribution network, which represents the technical benchmark in the field of low and medium voltage power system protection. Based on ABB's decades of experience in the field of power protection, this series integrates the latest digital signal processing technology and network communication capabilities, and provides a complete solution for substation automation.

Product line composition

Series 605 contains several special protection relay models, each with its own characteristics:

1. REF601

Feeder protection and control relay

Integrate protection, monitoring and control functions into one.

Including circuit breaker control function.

Support automatic reclosing (up to 4 times)

2. REJ601

Overcurrent protection relay

Focus on overcurrent and ground fault protection

Circuit breaker control function is not included.

Three configurations are available (B/C/D)

3. REM601

Motor protection relay

Optimized for motor protection

Including start-up monitoring and thermal model.

Support a variety of motor starting modes.

4. RET615

Transformer differential protection relay

Adopt advanced differential protection algorithm.

Including inrush current suppression function.

Support multi-winding transformer protection
