Cradlepoint IBR200 Product life cycle announcement

The ABB life cycle management model is designed to manage an orderly transition to new replacement products or to choose from various lifetime extending services. At the same time the model ensures access to continuing support for our customers.

Current life cycle status

IBR200 modem is in the Active phase according to the ABB life cycle model outlined above.

Life cycle plan

The IBR200 modem will be moved to the Limited life cycle phase starting from March 1st 2025. January 1st 2026 IBR200 will become Obsolete and will not be available anymore. This life cycle plan covers only the IBR200 modem, not the ABB SIM card.

Product availability in Limited phase

During the Limited phase EMEA and USCA variants will be normally available. APAC variant will be temporarily replaced with a compatible device if IBR200 stock is sold out.

For warranty replacements EU and USCA variants will be replaced with IBR200 and APAC variant will be replaced with a compatible device.

The IBR200 will be replaced with a new modem by the end of 2025. Information of the new modem will be provided later.
