The module has the following connector ports: CN1 I/O connector, CN2 encoder connector, CN3 communication connector, AC power connector, motor power connector and external brake resistor connector. 

It has communication interface RS-232/RS-485/RS-422, which can be used to read and write parameters from the machine version, or update the stored orientation set point from the host controller. 

IC800VMA072 includes feed step control function and orientation teaching function.

IC800VMA072 supports the motors IC800VMM07LNKSE25 and IC800VMM07LBKSE25. IC800VMM07LNKSE25 is a low inertia 2500 PPR encoder with straight shaft, key and oil seal. 

IC800VMM07LBKSE25 is a low inertia 24VDC holding brake with 2500 PPR encoder. The motor response is supplied by 10,000 orthogonal counts per revolution, and the resolution is 0.036 degrees per revolution of the motor. Combined with DSP (Digital Signal Processor) technology, they provide accurate reaction control and high-speed calculation functions, aiming at driving three-phase permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM) and realizing accurate positioning through accurate current output generated by IGBT (Insulated Gate Bipolar Transistor).
