The turbine terminal board has a simplex S-type terminal board version called the Simplex Primary Turbine Protection Input (STUR) terminal board (TTUR). It has connections for the turbine-specific primary trip (PTUR), speed and synchronization inputs, trip relay outputs, and a cable to power a primary trip board. The following are some uses for STUR: Mechanical drives without a synchronizing function but needing Overspeed protection Generator drive systems that demand primary synchronization and Overspeed. Additional uses for the four PTUR pulse input circuits. The physical dimensions, customer terminal placements, and I/O pack mounting of this terminal board are identical to those of other S-type terminal boards. No component will allow for multiple stacking of terminal boards above the associated PTUR I/O pack.
