Installation and Maintenance

Installation Guidelines:

Mount the SMBK-08 securely to the back panel of the control enclosure using four M4 mounting screws through the chassis grounding holes.

Ensure a minimum clearance of 50 mm above and below the rack to allow adequate natural convection cooling.

Connect a heavy-gauge copper braid wire (minimum 2.0 mm²) from the rack's designated FG (Frame Ground) terminal directly to the enclosure main ground bar.

Maintenance & Inspection:

Connector Care: Inspect edge connectors periodically for oxidation or dust accumulation; clean gently with isopropyl alcohol and an anti-static brush if necessary.

Screw Tightness: Verify the mechanical tightness of all rack-mounting and module-retaining screws annually to withstand continuous plant vibration.
